SEN Teaching Assistant (ASD) About the RoleAre you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)? This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive and forward-thinking school in Hackney as a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN-TA). In this role, you will provide dedicated 1:1 and group support to students with ASD, helping them to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Key Responsibilities • Provide tailored 1:1 and group support for students with ASD in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. • Assist in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies. • Collaborate with teachers to create engaging and accessible learning experiences.• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student well-being.
