Job Title - SEN Teaching Assistant
Hours - 37.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday 08:4 until 16:15 - 40 weeks per year
Salary - Dependent upon experience, qualifications and responsibility taken
Start Date - February 2025

You will be working with a specialist school that is dedicated to providing a nurturing and supportive educational environment for young people aged 11-19 years old who may have a range of learning difficulties, including autism and associated needs. Your new role
Adapt teaching methods to meet individual student requirements.
Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Encourage pupils' confidence and independence.
Ensure students have access to necessary resources (e.g., materials, assistive technology).
What you'll need to succeed
Experience working with young people and special educational needs is desirable.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Work creatively and flexibly with students with special educational needs to promote autonomy, independence, personal development and employability for all students.
Form and promote positive relationships with staff, students, parents, the local community and outside agencies
Compassionate and patient approach
