Job Duties:
- Providing support and assistance to students with special educational needs (SEN) in classroom settings
- Implementing individual education plans and strategies to help students achieve their learning goals
- Collaborating with teachers and other professionals to create a supportive learning environment
- Monitoring and recording student progress, behaviours, and achievements
- Assisting with personal care and hygiene needs as required
Required Qualifications:
- Understanding of autism and experience working with students with SEN
- CACHE Level 3 qualification or equivalent in Teaching Assistant or relevant field
Education:
- Minimum of CACHE Level 3 qualification in Teaching Assistant or related field
Experience:
- Previous experience working with children or young adults with special educational needs
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of SEN principles and practises
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional training or qualifications in specific areas of SEN
Working Conditions:
- Full-time position with regular school hours
- Work in classroom and school environments
- May involve some physical activity and personal care assistance

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
