SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Medway
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

About the Role
Simply Education is looking for compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to support students with special educational needs in schools across Medway. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real impact in the classroom, helping children with additional needs to thrive in their education.
Whether you're an experienced SEN TA or looking to take your first steps into education, we'd love to hear from you! We also offer free Cover Supervisor training for those looking to progress in their career.
Key Responsibilities
Support students with special educational needs in both 1:1 and small group settings.
Assist the class teacher with adapting lessons to meet individual learning needs.
Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Encourage students' confidence, independence, and social development.
Manage behaviour in line with school policies.What We're Looking For
Previous experience in an SEN or classroom setting is beneficial but not essential.
A patient, caring, and resilient attitude.
Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students.
A willingness to undertake training and professional development.
An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
