Job Description
Prospero Teaching are looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant (1:1) to work at a primary school in Colchester starting from April (After Easter) on an ongoing basis. The successful candidate will be closely supporting a child in Year 2 with ASD. This role is for mornings Mon-Thurs and full day Fridays.
CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS
Location - Colchester, Essex
Position - SEN Teaching Assistant (1:1)
Contract or position start date - 22.4.25 - 18.7.25
Duration / Likely Duration - Ongoing booking
Contract type - Long-Term
Full time/part time -Part-time 18 hrs
Minimum rate of pay - Minimum rate GBP95.30 per day
Hours - Mon - Thurs 9.30am - 11.30am, Friday 9.30am - 2.30pm
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
Previous TA experience
GCSE English and Maths grade 'C'
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related references
