TeacherActive is proud to be partnering with a well-established, 1-form entry Primary School in Quinton, who are currently seeking a compassionate and committed Teaching Assistant to join their SEN Classroom. In this role, you will work closely with a group of 8 children, ranging from Early Years to Key Stage 1, all of whom have additional needs, primarily Autism.
Key Role Details:
Position: Full-time, long-term role for the entire academic year
Location: Quinton
Classroom Setting: A warm and nurturing environment focused on children with additional needs
Children: A group of 8 students with a range of special educational needs, predominantly Autism
School Environment: A friendly and supportive school with a fantastic reputation
What We're Looking For: We’re seeking a Teaching Assistant who is:
Experienced in supporting children with Special Educational Needs
Able to follow instructions and collaborate effectively with the class teacher
Patient, positive, and approachable, with a warm and nurturing nature
Skilled at building trust and helping students feel safe and comfortable
Reliable and dedicated to making a positive impact in the classroom
