Teaching Assistant Opportunity in Folkestone
Full-time - Monday to Friday - £83.33 - £90 per day
Are you an inspiring Teaching Assistant searching for your next role? Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for a passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team in Folkestone! We work with schools across the County so we will be looking for schools in a 1-hour radius from your location.
This full-time position is available for an immediate start, initially as a temporary long-term role, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
If you do not yet have any school-based experience but have the right qualities, we do offer our in-house TA school (delivered at our office in Whitstable) that will prepare you for the role.
The Role Involves:
Providing one-to-one and small group support
Assisting class teachers in preparing and delivering lessons and activities
Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment, including assisting with classroom tasks and equipment
Supervising pupils on school trips and outings
Rephrasing instructions, offering repetition, and providing guidance to ensure students are fully engaged in their learning

An Enhanced child-only DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable), and professional references - if you do not have the DBS we can help you get one, and we will pay you back the £46 fee after you have worked for us for 10 days
