The RoleAs an SEN Teaching Assistant - Specialist in Challenging Behaviours, you will:
• Provide tailored 1:1 and group support to pupils with behavioural challenges.
• Implement effective behaviour management strategies to encourage positive outcomes.
• Work closely with teachers, the SENCO, and external professionals to create and deliver personalised support plans.
• Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils to help them develop confidence and resilience.
• Monitor and track progress, adapting strategies to meet individual needs.

• Proven experience supporting children with challenging behaviours in a primary school setting.
• A solid understanding of behaviour management techniques and de-escalation strategies.
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with staff, pupils, and parents.
• A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
