SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Snaith, East Riding of Yorkshire
Start Date: September 2025
Salary: £83 - £100 per day
GSL Education is looking to appoint a dedicated and empathetic SEN Teaching Assistants to join the support team of a Secondary School located in Snaith, East Riding of Yorkshire, starting in September 2025. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide tailored support to students with a wide range of additional learning needs and help them thrive both academically and personally.
SEN Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 and small group support to students within the classroom environment.
Collaborate with teachers, parents/carers, and external agencies to ensure holistic support.
Work alongside teaching staff to assist in lesson delivery.
Implement strategies to support the student's emotional, social, and academic development.
Promote independence while ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
SEN Teaching Assistant Requirements:
Right to work in the UK.
A genuine passion for supporting children and young people with SEN.
Previous experience in an SEN support role, preferably within a school setting.
Hold an enhanced Child Workforce DBS, registered on the update service, or be willing to obtain one through GSL Education.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
