Milk Education are recruiting for a caring, resilient SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) to join a Secondary School in Wakefield on a short-term, day-to-day supply basis, starting ASAP!
We’re looking for passionate SEN TAs who can support students with additional learning needs across KS3 and KS4. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a supportive environment and is ready to respond to the unique needs of young people with Special Educational Needs.

This is a brilliant opportunity for both experienced SEN Teaching Assistants or those seeking to grow their SEN experience in a mainstream secondary setting.
What You’ll Be Doing as a SEN TA:
Supporting students on a 1:1 basis or in small groups with a range of needs including autism, ADHD, and SEMH
Helping students to access the curriculum and overcome learning barriers
Working alongside the class teacher and SENCO to implement tailored strategies
Encouraging social development, emotional regulation, and academic progress
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
Must have recent experience working with students with SEN in an education or care setting
Confident supporting students with complex needs in a secondary classroom
A Level 2/3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning, or equivalent, is desirable
Strong communication skills and a compassionate, adaptable attitude
