About the Role:
• Provide 1:1 and group support for children in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 with challenging behaviours and additional needs
• Implement tailored support plans, using de-escalation techniques and positive behaviour management strategies.
• Collaborate with class teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals to create a nurturing and structured learning environment.
• Encourage social and emotional development while promoting independence and confidence.

What We’re Looking For:
• Proven experience working with children with SEN, particularly those with behavioural challenges.
• A strong understanding of behaviour management strategies and techniques.
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
• A relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent) is desirable but not essential.
• A proactive and adaptable approach to meet the needs of individual learners.
