The RoleAs an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
• Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support for students across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 exhibiting challenging behaviours.
• Implement effective behaviour management strategies to encourage positive outcomes and build confidence in students.
• Collaborate closely with teachers, SENCOs, and other support staff to develop and deliver individualised learning plans.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and structured environment that promotes emotional well-being and academic progress.
• Act as a positive role model, inspiring resilience and fostering a growth mindset in students.
What We’re Looking For
We are seeking a proactive and empathetic individual with:
• Experience working with children with challenging behaviours, ideally in a primary school setting.
• A solid understanding of behaviour management techniques and strategies.
