The Role:
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with a range of additional needs, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve their goals. Your responsibilities will include:
• Working 1:1 with students or in small groups to provide targeted support
• Assisting in the development and delivery of tailored learning plans
• Collaborating with teachers, parents, and the SENCO to ensure students’ needs are met
• Encouraging independence, confidence, and social skills in students
• Supporting students in Key Stages 3, 4, and 5 across a range of subjects
What We’re Looking For:
• A compassionate and patient individual with a genuine passion for supporting students with SEN
• Experience working with SEN students in a school setting is desirable
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students and staff
• A proactive attitude and the ability to adapt to the needs of individual learners
