Job Description

SEN Teaching Assistant Contract type: Permanent (flexible options may also be available) Start date: September 2025 (earlier starts may be available) Hours: 8.30am - 3.30pm approximately Salary: £16,800 - £24,000 SEN Teaching Assistant - responsibilities As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with students who have a range of special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs. Your role will involve: * Providing one-to-one and small group support to students in the classroom (multiple subject areas). * Assisting with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and EHCPs (Education, Health, and Care Plans). * Supporting students with their academic, social, and emotional development. * Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment. * Collaborating with teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students. * Encouraging independence and confidence in students.
