About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team at a vibrant secondary school in Enfield. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to work with students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, providing essential support to those with diverse learning needs.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
• Offering tailored support to students with SEN, including those with learning difficulties, autism, ADHD, and other additional needs.
• Assisting teachers in creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Developing personalised learning plans and adapting resources to meet individual student needs.
• Providing one-on-one and small group support to enhance student learning and confidence.
• Monitoring student progress and maintaining accurate records.
• Working collaboratively with teachers, SENCO, and other support staff to ensure a cohesive learning experience.
Ideal Candidate:
• A caring and empathetic individual with a strong passion for supporting students with SEN.
• Previous experience working in a similar role within a secondary school setting is desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A patient and adaptable approach to learning and behavior management.
• A commitment to promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
