Smile Education are recruiting for an SEN teacher with SEN experience to work in a college near the Harborne area. The role would be working at a large 3 site college with a tight knit staff team and SLT support. This school have 1300 staff over the 3 sites and are fantastic with keeping up a positive ethos
The role would be long term and full time and would be going permanent by the end of the academic year
The responsibilities of the SEN tutor role:
Plan and deliver captivating core subject lessons to students in line with the curriculum
Focus on creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that helps student engagement and critical thinking
assess and evaluate student progress, offer constructive feedback and nurturing a love for learning will be central to your role.
Be able to structure lesson plans for different level of student needs.To apply for this SEN Tutor role, you will need the following:
A bachelor’s degree in education, English or a related field.
Teaching certification or QTS.
Proficiency in the secondary curriculum and effective instructional techniques.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A genuine passion for teaching and motivating students to excel.
Have experience or the desire to work within an SEN setting.The benefits of this SEN tutor role:
A daily rate of £153.85-£230 a day
PAYE and Umbrella payment options
Holiday pay of 12.07%
