Are you a qualified Maths Tutor?
Do you have experience of Teaching students between the ages of 16 – 25?
Do you have experience working with learners with SEND?
TeacherActive are looking for a SEND Maths Tutor to join one of our fantastic SEND colleges in South Liverpool. The successful candidate will plan, prepare and deliver accredited maths courses at Entry Level, Level 1 & Level 2
The successful SEND Maths tutor will be joining a brilliant College that supports young adults with a variety of Special Education Needs. Experience working with learners who have an Autism / ASC and Moderate Learning Difficulties / MLD diagnosis is essential.
The Head of college is looking to take on a driven SEND Maths Tutor, on a Long-Term basis until the end of the academic year with the possibility this will lead to a permanent position for the right candidate.
As a SEND Maths Tutor you will require the following:
Excellent communication skills
Relevant experience working within an FE setting
A passion for teaching and making a difference to young people’s learning
