The Opportunity
Prospero Teaching are partnered with Local Councils and SEND teams throughout the UK. We provide educational support to individuals who are currently out of mainstream education, those seeking additional support and individuals with SEND.
We are currently looking for a qualified and experienced SEND Tutor to provide support to students who are not currently accessing mainstream education, in the Bootle and surrounding area.
Due to the nature of the students we provide support to, applicants must have a background and strong understanding of SEN.
Position Details:
Location - Bootle
Position - SEN Tutor
Type of work - Contract
Start date - ASAP
End date - Ongoing
Contract type - Temporary
Full time/part time - Part time and full time depending on availability
Minimum rate of pay - Minimum rate £25 per hour
Hours - Working hours can differentiate, minimum 1 hour per session and a maximum of 3 hours per sessionExperience, Training and Qualifications:
QTS or equivalent
Have experience working with SEND students
UK classroom teaching experience
Be creative, patient and willing to think outside of the boxTo be eligible for this role, you must:
Hold the right to work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child-related references.Other
