Job Description
SCHOOL SUPPORT STAFF (SEND):
* Secondary SEND school
* Southgate
* Full-Time
* Pay £85 - £104 depending on age
Empowering Learning are currently recruiting SEND Support Staff to work with pupils with Learning Difficulties in Southgate. We are seeking staff with a background of supporting children or adults with Complex Needs, Autism, ADHD, SEMH or Learning Difficulties.
Job Responsibilities
* Work with groups or 1:1 support within the classroom
* Supporting pupils with Complex Needs, Autism, SEMH & Learning Difficulties
* Supervising & managing pupils behaviour
* Encourage, engage and support pupils with their learning & development
* Support with personal care e.g. toileting & feeding
Job Requirements
* Have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident
* Willing to support children with learning difficulties and disabilities
* Previous experience supporting individuals with SEND
* Valid DBS registered with the online update service or be prepared to apply for a new DBS
