Job Description
We are recruiting for a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the Rugby area. In this role, you'll be working closely with children who require additional support to access learning and build confidence in the classroom.
Key Responsibilities

Provide one-to-one or small group support for pupils with special educational needs
*
Assist in creating an inclusive, engaging, and safe learning environment
*
Support the class teacher with daily routines and lesson delivery
*
Help pupils manage behaviour and develop social and emotional skills
*
Monitor and track pupil progress, working closely with SENCO and teaching staff
Required Experience
*
Previous experience supporting children with SEND in a classroom setting
*
A confident, patient, and proactive approach to support
*
Strong communication and teamwork skills
*
Knowledge of strategies to support children with a range of learning needs
