Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our partnered schools across Coventry and the surrounding areas. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in supporting children with special educational needs and wants to make a daily difference in their learning and well-being.
Key Responsibilities
*
Supporting and assisting children with special educational needs in the classroom and throughout daily routines
*
Engaging in classroom activities, including observations, record-keeping, and contributing to lesson planning
*
Providing one-on-one or small group support as required
*
Building positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
*
Assisting with classroom management and behaviour support
Required Experience
*
Previous experience working with children with special educational needs (1-2 years minimum)
*
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent)
*
DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
*
Strong knowledge of special educational needs and relevant support strategies
*
Understanding of safeguarding procedures and the confidence to report concerns
*
A genuine passion for supporting children with SEN and helping them thrive in a nurturing, inclusive environment
