Full-Time Teaching Assistant - SEND Support (KS1) - Primary School in SK6, Stockport
Tradewind Recruitment are currently working with a welcoming Primary School in the SK6 area of Stockport who are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team. This full-time role involves providing SEND support within a KS1 classroom, starting as soon as possible.
Role Details:
Location: SK6 area of Stockport
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
Pay: Competitive daily rate
Contract: Full-time, long-term
The school is seeking a reliable, experienced Teaching Assistant who can offer consistency and compassion to support children with additional needs in Key Stage 1. You will be working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to help children access the curriculum and develop confidence in their learning.
The ideal candidate will:
Have experience supporting children with SEND, ideally in a KS1 setting
Be calm, patient, and adaptable
Be able to build strong relationships with pupils and staff
Be committed to supporting the academic and emotional development of children
