TeacherActive are currently looking for a SEND Teaching Assistant to work with one of our partner SEND schools in Medway. We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate One-to-One SEND Teaching Assistant to support a student with Special educational needs within a specialist setting.
About this SEND Teaching Assistant role:
As a One-to-One SEND Teaching Assistant, you’ll work closely with a specific student, supporting their learning, personal development, and engagement in the classroom. You’ll be an essential part of a friendly and experienced staff team, helping to deliver tailored educational support and creating a safe, positive learning space.
What We’re Looking for from a SEND Teaching Assistant:
A caring, patient and proactive individual
Experience working with children, especially those with SEND
Good communication and teamwork skills
A flexible approach and a genuine desire to help children achieve their best
