This long-term opportunity is perfect for someone experienced in supporting children with special educational needs in EYFS or Key Stage 1. You'll play a vital part in helping pupils access learning, build confidence, and succeed in the classroom.
Your role will include:
Providing 1:1 and small group support to children with SEN, including autism and speech & language needs
Assisting the class teacher with tailored lesson delivery and classroom management
Using strategies and resources to support behaviour and emotional regulation
Building strong, positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
Supporting personal care needs where necessaryWe're looking for someone who:
Has previous experience working with primary-aged children with SEN
Is calm, consistent, and able to follow routines and support plans
Can work collaboratively with teachers and external professionals
Has a genuine passion for helping children succeed
