Job Description
We’re seeking a dedicated SENDCo to take the lead on special educational needs provision at a school in Solihull. This is a vital role for an experienced teacher with a passion for ensuring every pupil has access to high-quality, inclusive education.
Key Responsibilities
*
Oversee and manage the SEND provision across the school
*
Coordinate support staff and lead EHCP planning and implementation
*
Liaise with external agencies and families to ensure appropriate support
*
Provide staff training and development around SEND strategies
*
Track progress of SEND learners and adapt provisions accordingly
Required Experience
*
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
*
National Award for SEN Coordination (or working towards it)
*
Experience working with students with SEND across a range of needs
*
Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills
