About the company
A well-established Construction Consultancy who works in multiple sectors, including Residential and commercial, are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their well established and successful team. Based in Southampton but with other offices in key locations, they have built a strong reputation and looking to push on with their growth plans. A medium sized multi-disciplinary Construction Consultancy, they provide a complete Cost Management service with Project Management, Employers Agent and Building Surveying Services. The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will be joining an organisation founded on the principle of employing the very best people in the industry.
About the role:
As a Senior or Associate Building Surveyor, you will play a key leadership role within our team, managing a varied portfolio of projects and providing expert advice across the full range of building surveying services. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to develop client relationships, mentor junior staff, and take a hands-on role in shaping the future of our business.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver a full range of professional and project-based building surveying services
* Manage client relationships and act as the primary point of contact
* Lead and oversee project delivery from inception to completion
* Undertake technical due diligence, building pathology, and defect diagnosis
* Provide support and guidance to junior surveyors and graduates
* Contribute to business development and growth initiatives
About the requirements:
* MRICS qualified with at least 5 years’ post-qualification experience
* Strong knowledge of building surveying practice and legislation
* Proven project management and client-facing skills
* Ability to lead and motivate a team
* Commercial awareness and business development mindset
* Full UK driving licence
About the salary:
Salary is negotiable, dependent on the individuals experience but up to £80,000. Other benefits RICS subscriptions paid for and well supported career progression.
