Job Description
Our client, a leader in the high-voltage technology and power (HTP) sector, is currently seeking a Senior Authorised Person to join their team on a contract basis. This role is critical for ensuring the safety and efficiency of electrical systems, particularly those involving high-voltage equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing and overseeing the safe operation of electrical systems
Conducting energization, switching, isolation, and earthing operations
Developing and implementing safety procedures and policies
Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards
Providing expert guidance and leadership to electrical teams
Conducting risk assessments and implementing mitigation strategies
Maintaining detailed records of electrical operations and maintenance activities
Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project success
Job Requirements:
Extensive experience in the electrical field, particularly with high-voltage equipment
Proven expertise in energization, switching, isolation, and earthing procedures
Strong understanding of electrical safety regulations and standards
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Ability to develop and implement safety procedures and policies
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Relevant electrical engineering qualifications or equivalent experience
