Job Description
Our client, a dynamic multi-disciplinary consultancy, is seeking a Senior Building Surveyor to join their expanding team based in Maidstone. Specialising in a wide range of sectors including residential, commercial, healthcare, education, and office space, they offer a varied and rewarding workload of both project and professional services. With most projects located within 1 hour of Maidstone (and none further than 2 hours), this is a rare opportunity to join a forward-thinking consultancy that values balance, collaboration, and career development.
This role is ideally suited to a Senior Building Surveyor with prior experience in a consultancy or client-side environment, looking to work in a flexible, supportive team with strong routes to progression. APC support is available for those working towards chartership.
Senior Building Surveyor Salary & Benefits
Salary: £50k - £65k DOE
21 days holiday plus bank holidays (increasing with service)

Delivering a range of building surveying services across residential (60%) and commercial (40%) projects
Leading small to medium-sized construction and refurbishment schemes
Preparing specifications, tender documentation, and managing contracts (JCT and NEC)
Conducting building and condition surveys, defect analysis, and dilapidations
Providing professional services including party wall matters and statutory applications
Developing and maintaining strong client relationships across sectors
Working independently and collaboratively on varied assignments across the South EastSenior Building Surveyor Job Requirements
Degree in Building Surveying or similar
Previous consultancy or client-side experience required
Proven experience delivering both project and professional surveying services
Excellent communication, organisation, and client-facing skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel)
