Job Description
Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for a Senior Care Assistant to join a Care Home based in Pocklington on an initial 3 month temporary contract. This is a part-time role working 24 hours per week on a rota basis.
Key Responsibilities:

Administer medications to residents in line with care plans and regulations.
*
Manage and support the care team during shifts to ensure high standards of care.
*
Handle telephone calls and communicate effectively with families, healthcare professionals, and colleagues.
*
Oversee and maintain a safe and compliant environment for both residents and staff.
*
Ensure accurate and up-to-date care records are maintained.
*
Use the online care system to document care plans and updates efficiently.
Requirements:
*
Experience working in a care environment, preferably in a senior role.
*
A relevant care qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care).
*
Confidence in using online care systems and updating records accurately.
Hours - 3pm - 11pm or 7am - 3pm on a four week rota to include 2 weekends .
