Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Carer (Nights) to join our team in Lincoln. In this role, you will provide high-quality, person-centered care and support to residents during night shifts, ensuring their safety, well-being, and comfort. You will assist with personal care tasks, medication administration, and monitoring the health of residents.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide person-centered care during night shifts
Assist residents with personal care tasks such as washing, dressing, toileting, and mobility
Administer medication as directed and monitor residents' medication regimes
Monitor residents' wellbeing, identifying and reporting changes in their condition
Maintain accurate care records, including daily logs and care plan updates
Work closely with the care team to provide a supportive and collaborative environment
Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals
Contribute to the development of care plans that reflect individual resident needs
Skills and Experience:
3+ years of experience in a senior care role, particularly with night shifts
Experience working with individuals with dementia or complex health conditions is desirable
Must be medication trained
NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach to care
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (mandatory)
Must be able to commit to a 4-3 shift pattern (4 nights on, 3 nights off)
Two references required
Pay and Benefits:
£14-£15 per hour, inclusive of holiday pay
