About the Role
As the Senior Catering Manager, you will lead the catering department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality food services to pupils, staff, parents, visitors, and external customers. You will play a key role in shaping the school's food offerings, introducing innovation and interest, and prioritising health and wellbeing to promote balanced lifestyles.
Key Responsibilities
* Overseeing the School pupil and staff dining service, including delivered Nursery and Infant meals
* Managing hospitality for visiting teams, parents, and internal events
* Leading catering services for external lettings during school holiday periods
* Innovating and developing the catering service to enhance the experience for pupils and staff
* Preparing detailed annual budgets for the catering department, including monthly financial reviews
* Supporting the Operations Director on expenditure planning and cost management
* Leading and motivating a catering team to deliver excellence
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience as a Catering Manager, preferably in a large-scale catering facility
* Strong leadership and organisational skills
* Knowledge of food safety and health & safety regulations
* Ability to manage budgets and streamline operations efficiently
* A customer-focused approach with excellent communication abilities
* A passion for food service innovation and promoting healthy lifestyles
