About the Role
As a Senior Civil Engineer, you’ll oversee all civil engineering aspects of development projects—from initial concept through to detailed design and delivery. You’ll manage resources, timelines, and financials while maintaining the highest standards in quality, safety, and client service.
Key Responsibilities
Project Delivery & Design Excellence

Lead and manage civil engineering projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery.

Produce and review technical drawings, calculations, and reports.

Ensure all designs comply with current standards, codes, and legislation.

Champion continuous improvement and technical excellence in all outputs.
Client Relationships

Build trusted partnerships with high-value clients and stakeholders.

Attend meetings, contribute insights, and drive project success through collaboration.

Deliver expert guidance and first-class service throughout the project lifecycle.
Leadership & Team Development
*
Mentor junior engineers and support their career progression.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve challenges and innovate.
Commercial & Financial Management
*
Prepare fee estimates and maintain accurate forecasts of project financials.
*
Lead monthly invoicing and ensure effective resource planning.

Support commercial success through efficient and scalable project management.
Strategic Growth

Promote the business through networking and thought leadership.

Attend industry events, grow your professional presence, and identify new opportunities.

Support the expansion of the team’s services across new sectors and regions.
What We’re Looking For
*
Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
*
Chartered or working towards Chartership (e.g., ICE or equivalent).
*
Demonstrable experience in development-led civil engineering design.
*
Strong technical skills across drainage, highways, and site infrastructure.
*
Proven experience leading projects and managing teams.
*
Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., Civil 3D, MicroDrainage, AutoCAD).
*
A collaborative mindset and excellent communication skills.
