They are currently looking for a Senior Credit Controller to join their friendly and professional team. This is a vital role that supports the financial stability of our organisation, working closely with tenants to manage rental and non-rental payments with empathy, efficiency, and fairness.
Key Responsibilities for Senior Credit Controller
Monitor and manage rent and non-rent arrears
Communicate proactively with tenants regarding payments and arrears
Negotiate realistic payment plans where needed
Maintain accurate financial records and reports
Collaborate with departments such as Lettings, Accounts, and Maintenance
Ensure all activity is compliant with relevant legislation
Educate tenants on budgeting and financial management
Provide clear, timely updates to management through reporting
Essential
Experienced in credit control, property management, or financial services (2+ years preferred)
Organised, reliable, and meticulous with your records
A natural communicator with strong negotiation skills
Empathetic and solution-focused, even in challenging conversations
Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
Confident using Microsoft Office Suite and Google Sheets
