Our Client has a requirement for a Senior CS&A Technician, who will be required to work on a contract basis in Warrington
Role Purpose:
To provide high quality civil, structural, and architectural (CS&A) design services across the full project lifecycle. This role supports complex nuclear infrastructure projects and involves delivering detailed designs, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring BIM and CDM compliance within a multi-disciplinary team environment.
Job Role Responsibilities:
Produce and deliver CS&A design work, inspection reports and site support for nuclear projects.
Create detailed models and drawings using Autodesk tools (Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks).
Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure coordinated, integrated design solutions.
Support the implementation of BIM processes across projects.
Mentor and guide junior technicians and apprentices.
Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, CDM regulations and ISO documentation.
Support tender inputs, business development, and contribute to lessons learned initiatives.
Act as a Subject Matter Expert in CS&A software and detailing practices.
Experience / Skills / Knowledge / Qualifications:
Essential:
HNC (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline.
Experience across the full design lifecycle.
Proficient in CAD tools and BIM methodologies.
Strong understanding of engineering and architectural drawing standards.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Desirable:
Membership of a relevant engineering or technical institute.
Demonstrable experience in nuclear or highly regulated industries.
