Job Duties:
Create detailed designs and layouts
Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure designs meet project requirements
Produce accurate technical drawings and specifications
Review and update existing designs as needed
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
Required Qualifications:
Proven experience as a detail designer in associated discipline
Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools (FORAN preferred)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Education:
Degree in Engineering or relevant field
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years in detail design, with experience in the marine industry
Knowledge and Skills:
In-depth understanding of design principles
Familiarity with industry standards and regulations
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
Strong problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Professional qualification in relevant discipline
Experience in the marine or military and defence sector
