Your Role & Responsibilities As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will: ✅ Lead and mentor a team of engineers and designers, ensuring the successful delivery of technical work packages. ✅ Develop electrical engineering solutions from concept to implementation, meeting project and regulatory requirements. ✅ Design & review HV & MV distribution systems, protection, control, and schematic diagrams. ✅ Conduct system studies including fault level analysis and power flow assessments. ✅ Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety policies, and best practices. ✅ Manage subcontractors and coordinate projects to ensure seamless execution. ✅ Stay ahead of emerging technologies, standards, and engineering methodologies. ✅ Prepare cost estimates for projects and proposals, contributing to future growth. What We're Looking For Essential: ✔ Strong background in HV & MV electrical design, distribution, protection, and control systems. ✔ Experience in creating & reviewing schematic drawings, single-line diagrams, and fault level reports. ✔ Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., ETAP or similar tools). ✔ Ability to specify, select, and procure HV & MV equipment. ✔ Familiarity with European & International Standards and best practices. ✔ Minimum 3 years' experience in a Senior Electrical Engineer role. Desirable: ➕ Experience with naval dockyard electrical systems. ➕ Familiarity with configuration & project management tools. ➕ Proficiency in AMTECH/Trimble Pro Design. ➕ Ability to collaborate in virtual teams. ➕ Understanding of MoD standards and procedures.
