What you will do
As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will:
Take ownership of the electrical design on projects from concept through to completion
Work across sectors including science and research, residential, commercial and education
Lead project coordination and engage directly with clients, architects and other design professionals
Develop and deliver low-energy, low-carbon electrical solutions that support sustainability goals
Support the growth of the team by mentoring junior engineers and contributing to internal development initiatives
Participate in design team meetings, technical reviews and project planning activities
What you will bring
Chartered Engineer status (CEng) or actively working towards chartership
Between six and eight years’ experience in electrical building services design within the UK built environment
A strong technical understanding of electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, fire alarms, data systems and energy-efficient technologies
Experience working on projects across various RIBA stages, from feasibility through to construction
Confident communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage design outputs and support junior team members
A genuine interest in innovation, digital tools and sustainable engineering
