Salary: £57,000 + benefits
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Shift Engineer to join the engineering operations at a high-performance Critical Environment located in Heathrow. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a critical environment, ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of complex systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance of electrical, mechanical, and critical systems within the data centre.
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and site-specific procedures.
Test equipment on site.
Ideal experience with using ServiceNow.
Plan and execute maintenance schedules for critical systems, minimizing downtime.
Identify and implement improvements in operational processes and energy efficiency.
Requirements:
Candidate MUST have experience in data centre engineering.
LV/HV AP experience preferred.
Strong technical knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems (e.g., UPS, HVAC, BMS, generators).
Experience leading and managing teams in a high-pressure environment.
Relevant qualifications in engineering (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent).
Strong understanding of health and safety protocols in a critical setting.
