Role: Senior Environment Manager
Location: Devonport
Duration: 52 Weeks
Pay Rate: £70 to £80 per hour via umbrella

The Senior Environment Manager for Consenting will report to the Project Manager for Planning and Consenting.
The Post Holder will work under the guidance of the Project Manager for Planning and Consenting on a variety of (non-nuclear/radiological) consenting activities across the MIP portfolio.
This will involve:
Contributing to the monthly reporting cycle.
Developing consenting strategies and documentation to support consenting activities.
Developing scopes, schedules and estimates for consenting activities.
Developing and managing consenting risks and assumptions.
Delivering works required to support the required permissions, licenses, permits, consents and authorisations.
Preparing scopes of work for subcontractors for consenting activities.
Processing timely responses to correspondence and queries and providing information as required.
Provision of consenting advice and guidance.
Data collection and analysis.
Liaison with:
MIP delivery support team
project teams
wider DRDL teams including but not limited to the Safety Health and Environment Team
external consultant teams
The role requires:
A strong health, safety and environmental ethic.
Strong Microsoft Office skills.
Effective oral and written communication skills, including chairing and minuting meetings and proof reading.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to establish strong working relationships.
Demonstrable experience of coordinating consenting documentation for a variety of projects.
Demonstrable experience of reviewing documentation prepared by technical specialists
