Are you an experienced Estimator looking to take the next step in your career? We are currently recruiting for a leading Roofing & Cladding Contractor, seeking a highly skilled Senior Estimator to join their dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for a results-driven professional to work with a well-established company known for delivering high-quality commercial and industrial projects across the UK.
About the Role:
As a Senior Estimator, you will play a crucial role in the pre-construction phase, preparing accurate and competitive tenders for roofing and cladding projects. You will be responsible for assessing project specifications, liaising with clients and suppliers, and ensuring cost-effective solutions are delivered within deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:

Analyse project drawings, specifications, and requirements to prepare accurate cost estimates.

Conduct site visits and liaise with clients to understand project scope and requirements.
*
Source and negotiate pricing with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive estimates.
*
Collaborate with internal teams, including project managers and design teams, to develop viable solutions.
*
Prepare detailed tender submissions and present to senior management.
*
Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with project costs.
*
Stay up to date with industry trends, materials, and regulations to ensure compliance and best practices.
Requirements:
*
Minimum 5+ years experience in estimating within the roofing and cladding industry.
*
Strong understanding of various roofing & cladding systems and construction methods.
*
Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
*
Proficient in using estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
*
Strong negotiation and communication skills with the ability to build relationships with clients and suppliers.
*
Ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
