Senior Construction Estimator
Location: Glasgow or London, UK
Permanent Role
Work Schedule: Hybrid (3 days in the office, 2 days remote)
Job Opportunity
Our Client is expanding and seeks an experienced Senior Construction Estimator to join the team. You'll collaborate with global peers, focusing on UK projects in EPcM, BESS, Grid, Hydrogen, and Gas power generation. We're looking for someone who can build up and understand construction costs, acting as an in-region expert for the UK market, with knowledge of Spain and UAE being a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and consolidate estimates for proposals and project controls.
Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, and Construction teams.
Provide technical advice on estimates for various project scopes.
Ensure estimate accuracy and recommend contingencies.
Develop estimating procedures and techniques.Minimum Qualifications:
8+ years of construction-related estimating experience.
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field (or equivalent experience).
Ability to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements.Preferred Qualifications:
On-site construction experience.
Background in electrical engineering and cost estimating principles.
Experience with hydrogen and gas plants, power grids, and BESS facilities.
Strong mathematical, analytical skills, and software proficiency (e.g., On-Screen Take Off, InEight).
