Job Description
Senior Fire & AOV Engineer – £45,000+ DOE – Kent / SE London
Location: Kent / South East London
Salary: £45,000+ (Negotiable DOE)

Our client, an established FM (Facilities Management) services provider based in Kent/SE London, is looking for an experienced Senior Fire & AOV Engineer to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a senior role with a respected company, working on a variety of sites across Kent, South East London, and some in Central London.
Key Responsibilities:
*
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on fire alarms, AOV (Automatic Opening Vent) systems, and emergency lighting
*
Diagnose faults and complete high-quality repairs
*
Perform small works, installations, and upgrades in line with fire safety standards
*
Conduct actuator replacements, smoke control testing (cause & effect / fire strategy), and battery checks
*
Provide expert advice to clients and build strong working relationships
*
Maintain accurate job records using company tools
*
Participate in the on-call rota (currently 1 in 10 weeks – expected to improve as the team grows)
What Our Client Is Looking For:
*
At least 5 years of experience in a similar fire and AOV role
*
Strong knowledge of fire alarm and AOV systems
*
Relevant fire safety qualifications
*
Based in or near Kent / SE London, with flexibility to cover client sites across the region
*
Willingness to support the business in obtaining BAFE accreditation
What’s On Offer:

£45,000+ per year (depending on experience)

24 days holiday plus bank holidays

Working hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm (1-hour unpaid lunch)
