Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Senior Healthcare Assistant to join a specialist neurological care team based in Hitchin, Hertfordshire. This is a full-time, permanent role involving weekend and bank holiday shifts.
Please note: You must have a Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care to apply.
About the Role:
Provide high-quality, person-centred care and support to service users.
Supervise, coach and mentor junior team members.
Ensure a safe, clean and supportive environment.
Promote the rights, choices and wellbeing of those in your care.
Support compliance with all relevant policies, procedures and legislation.
Requirements:
Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) – essential
At least 2 years' experience in a similar care setting
Strong communication, leadership and teamwork skills
Experience in coaching, mentoring and supporting others
Computer literacy and numeracy
Audit awareness and understanding of relevant competencies
Important: This location is not accessible by public transport – own transport required.

£14.09 – £14.20 per hour (depending on experience)
