Senior Legal Counsel
Insurance
up to £120,000
Can be based in either London, Leeds, or Norfolk
( 2 days per week office, 3 days from home)
Senior Legal Counsel is required to join a multinational insurance company permanently.
As the Senior Legal Counsel, you will;
Working closely with the technical underwriting team and internal stakeholders to review, develop, and refine standard and bespoke policy documentation
Provide legal advice on commercial insurance policy wordings and endorsements
Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards
Ensure policy wordings meet evolving coverage issues
As the Senior Legal Counsel (Policy wordings), you will be;
Qualified as a Solicitor in England and Wales or a foreign jurisdiction but must have experience in London market
Have significant experience in drafting, reviewing and managing commercial policy wordings
Ability to collaborate with underwriters, brokers and external partners to negotiate and refine policy wordings and policy documentation including complex wording queries
Understanding of Financial Lines and London market wordings ideally
Candidates from private practice or insurance are encouraged to apply
