Job Description
A well-established M&E contractor is seeking an experienced Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team. With a strong pipeline of work across London, the business delivers high-value building services projects in both new build and refurbishment environments.
This role offers the opportunity to step in during the early stages of a major upcoming project. With design and procurement already underway, you’ll play a key role in shaping the commercial strategy and ensuring delivery stays on track—both financially and contractually.
As Senior QS, you’ll be responsible for managing costs across the full project lifecycle—from procurement and tender reviews through to valuations, variations, and final accounts. You’ll oversee subcontractor packages, negotiate terms, handle risk and dispute resolution, and provide clear reporting to senior leadership and the client team.
This is a role for someone with strong commercial awareness and the confidence to manage complex M&E packages. You’ll need at least eight years’ experience in quantity surveying, ideally with exposure to projects upwards of £10m in value, and a proven ability to balance cost control with programme and quality demands.
