Job Description
Our client are seeking an experienced Accountant to join their team. In this role, you’ll take on a wide range of responsibilities including monthly closures, financial reporting, tax compliance, and budgeting. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated finance professional to work in a fast-paced, international environment and contribute to the financial health and growth of the business. Key Responsibilities
* Handle day-to-day accounting including bank reconciliations, invoicing, and ledger management
* Manage month-end and year-end accounts to strict deadlines
* Support financial planning, analysis, and budgeting
* Prepare tax and VAT returns across multiple jurisdictions
* Maintain internal controls and manage fixed assets and lease reporting
* Provide credit control for UK and European customers
* Assist with audits and financial disclosures
Key attributes
* Qualified or part-qualified Accountant (CIMA preferred, ACCA considered)
* 3+ years of industry management accounting experience
* Strong Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems (Syteline a plus)
* Highly organised, analytical, and detail-oriented
* Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
* French or German language skills are a bonus but not essential
