Rate: £18 - £23 *Negotiable on experience

Working hours: Monday to Friday, up to 35 hours per week – office based
Work Pattern: Office based or Hybrid (3 days in the office, 2 days working from home)
Location: Bristol, City Centre BS1
Reporting to: Operations Director
About the role
Here at Hartley Pensions we looking for an Interim Senior Pensions Administrator to support us in the reconciliation of our client’s accounts and able to administrator the whole life cycle of a SIPP with a focus on transfers to retirement. You will be involved in the project of investigating our client’s SIPP portfolios and finding any discrepancies and missing information. You will be involved in simple to complex SIPP queries.
What you'll be doing
Your responsibilities for this role include but not restricted to:
Administer the reconciliation of our client’s SIPPs.
Update clients on their SIPP valuation.
Contact and liaise with investment providers or banks to get an updated statement for the client’s SIPP.
Processing SIPP transfers out and retirement request as per instructions from our clients.
Liaise and collaborate with our team of 8 Pension administrators/SIPP Managers.
Liaise with pension schemes/providers to obtain pension information.
Proactively identify risk within the department and escalates any concerns to Team Leader or Operations Director.
Skills and experience
To be successful you must be able to demonstrate that you have been involved in the reconciliation of clients’ accounts, transferring pensions out, organised to meet tight deadlines, have the ability to multi-task, be empathic and resilient. Ideally, we are looking for someone who is able demonstrate their experience in the following areas:
Able to administer pension reconciliation. If you have experience in Banks reconciliation please highlight this in your CV/application.
The ability to take responsibility for own administration
The capability to explain complex information simply and clearly
Experienced in SIPP pensions and the ability to investigate transactions
Not essential but please note on your CV if you have any of the following:
If you have experience using systems such SIPP Pro or Platinum Pro.
Bank reconciliation experience.
