Senior / Principal Civil Structures Engineer (Rail Structures)
Ipswich
£50k-£60k DOE plus benefits

Our client is expanding their team in Ipswich and are seeking a senior or principal engineer who has extensive consultancy experience and can bring drive and enthusiasm to the role.
They need a good communicator, someone who can interact with colleagues and clients effortlessly. The ability to make prompt decisions and think on your feet is vital, along with a versatile and flexible approach.
The role is predominantly within their civil structures / marine engineering team which will see you working on the structural elements and leading a variety of projects across land and marine based clients. You will also be supporting other teams within the business.
The role:
Manage projects from concept to completion
Design in civil/structural schemes, including steel/reinforced concrete, with marine structures experience a definite advantage
Attend site and client meetings
About you:
Degree in civil/structural engineering
At least 5 years' relevant experience within a UK consultancy
Chartered or working towards
Knowledge of British Standards and EuroCodes
Experience managing teams and leading projects to successful delivery
Full driving licence
