Job Title - Senior Manufacturing Engineer
Location - Basingstoke, Hampshire
Hours - Permanent On-site, Full Time, 37.5 hours per week Monday to Thursday: - 08:00 – 16:30 Friday: - 08:00 – 14:00
Salary - £45,000 - £55,000 per annum
Job Specification:
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manufacturing Engineer with a focus on Quality control to join their dynamic team, The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in driving Manufacturing and Quality excellence by applying their expertise in process control, manufacturing engineering, problem solving and interpersonal skills. They will lead the introduction of new products, coordinate non-conformance and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and delivery standards are consistently met.
Requirements & Experience:
* Strong manufacturing engineering experience in an aerospace or motorsport environment.
* Engineering Degree or HNC/BTEC 5 and/or Aerospace Engineering Apprenticeship; equivalent experience also considered.
* Experience with AS9100 is essential. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
* Able to interpret engineering drawings, good knowledge of GD&T.
* Quality mindset and attention to detail.
* Strong IT Skills, specifically in Microsoft Office Applications.
* Organised and good problem-solving skills.
* Proficient using hand held measuring tools, linear height gauges, bore gauges etc.
