Our client is a fast-growing developer and operator of renewable and sustainable infrastructure projects across Texas-spanning solar, battery storage, thermal energy, and grid modernization. They are seeking a Project Manager to lead the execution of high-impact projects from early-stage development through construction and commercial operation.
This is a standout opportunity for a hands-on leader who understands the technical, commercial, and regulatory dynamics of building energy infrastructure in Texas.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end project delivery for utility-scale or distributed energy projects across Texas.
Develop and oversee project schedules, budgets, and execution strategies.
Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement, construction, legal, and external consultants.
Interface with landowners, utilities, permitting agencies, and local stakeholders to secure required approvals and maintain positive relationships.
Lead risk management efforts, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance throughout all project phases.
Support contract negotiations and manage vendors, subcontractors, and construction partners.
Track project KPIs and prepare reporting for internal leadership and external stakeholders.
Ensure smooth transition of projects from development through commissioning and handoff to operations.
Identify process improvements and contribute to the continuous evolution of the company's project delivery approach.✅ Experience Required:
5-10+ years of project management experience in energy, utilities, infrastructure, or construction.
Proven track record delivering renewable energy, battery storage, thermal systems, or related infrastructure projects.
Deep understanding of project lifecycle management, budgeting, scheduling, and stakeholder coordination.
Familiarity with permitting, interconnection, and compliance processes (ERCOT/PUCT experience a plus).
Excellent leadership, negotiation, and organizational skills.
Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent)Before You Apply
